the Monogatari Araragi siblings have em... all three. :> Koyomi's is the funniest and gets the most screen time. a goofy head x-ray of his skull even shows he's got a few bones and joints in his, kinda like a cat's tail growing out of his skull. :> Karen's is sometimes trapped in her fried egg hair band and causes her tiny side pig-tail to wiggle. other times it gets loose and behaves just like her older brother's ahoge does. Tsukihi seems to lose and regain hers off and on because her hair length is suddenly short then luxuriously crazy long again, kinda like Arsnotoria's hair. :D

Bunch of girls in some stronghold defending against mysterious enemy... the settings somehow reminds me of Houseki no Kuni.

Hmm, I'm not really feeling this, I'm finding it boring and only found the dark part in the middle with Lucian interesting but I don't see that being a focus anytime soon so I'm not sure if I'll continue this.

That part felt like it belonged in a different show, lol...I am curious how the two parts of the show will eventually intersect though.

It's intriguing, that's for sure. Plus, we heard Kenjiro Tsuda's voice at the end of last week's episode in that flashback sequence.

There's more than meets the eye here, especially that "warning" sign from this episode.

Makes me feel/hope this will go in a Madoka Magica direction.

NTM this is based off a game, and we all know how that fares. I do agree that the White Flash Lucian sequence was the only interesting part so far, in addition to that whole book sequence last episode. However, IDK if I'd say it's "boring", so much as I'd say this show doesn't know what it wants to do.

On one hand it does look to be intriguing, seeing as it hints to a darker story, or at least everything's not what it seems. On the other hand, given how one minute we see the girls pick and eat strawberries and the next we see a guy massacre guards, it comes off as an issue in the show's tone.
Does it wanna be a cutesy moe anime with dark moments that feel offputting, or does it wanna be an intriguing anime using cute girls with hints of something dark happening?

Same. While I like Arsnotoria (and her Ahoge), I don't feel anything while watching this show. I think I will just continue just for watching how her Ahoge evolves but won't put in any expectation.

This show has such an unusual feel!

So bugs bring Knights which means the bugs are just grunt units. I assume the Knights that they're talking about are like this dud that's just slaughtering people in the letterboxed scene just like the one in last week's final scene. If the girls are having trouble trying to catch a bug that's not even a bug, I can't even imagine how they'll fare against an actual Knight. Maybe running away is really their option if they ever encounter one. I'm just hoping that these girls are actually more capable when they're in real danger.

One thing I'm wondering about though is what are these guys who have this aura that's blurring their entire body? Arsnotoria and Mell encountered one too last week and they never say anything, the girls just bow and curtsy whenever one passes by. I know this show is based on a mobage so maybe they're supposed to be the player character's avatar?
